A lot of young people want to be older because they see the older kids have more privelages. Older people want to be younger because they were too worried about their future to enjoy their childhood. At my age, I feel like I should have appreciated my childhood. It went by faster than expected and now I cant go back.
I agree with your opinion on the contrast of how many young people want to be older and how older people desire to be young again. I do believe as youngsters like ourselves we should try to live int the moment and not worry about our future excessively.
ReplyDeleteI wrote my journal with the same thoughts in mind, we all desire what we can't have and eventually will miss our childhood too. As Cristian said in his vine,"Your'e young once, live it up."
